Program Notes: The premise of the work is a recall of Stockhausen’s pointillistic electronic techniques and permutational composition as well as the idea of particle expansion and entropy. Musically, the “points” expand both temporally and chromatically as the piece progresses while the space this creates becomes flooded with an erratic interpolation of varying gestures and characters.
