I N C O N G R U E N C Y
Incongruency is a contemporary classical 6-piece instrumental ensemble bent on championing the works of modern composers. Our sound is flush with vibrant woodwinds, rich strings, and a piercing trumpet, all played within genres ranging from free improvisation to modern tangos. Comprised of recent UGA graduates and current students and now in our third season, Incongruency has commissioned several works from composers both local to Athens and across the country.

Our self-released album’s title track, Humana Corpus, was played on WUGA’s first episode of Out of the Box, a radio show produced out of the studios for the Dancz Center for New Music.
